Terms of sale

Aoaj is a Bangladesh-based retailer operating through this website. The legal entity, registered address and trade licence are held on file and can be provided on request. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell to a customer outside Bangladesh.

Checkout works entirely as a guest. An account is optional and exists to keep your order history in one place and to let a verified email address collect orders you placed as a guest. It is never required to buy something, and refusing to create one changes nothing about your rights under these terms.

We ask for a mobile number at checkout because the courier needs someone to call. We do not ask for a number to hold an account, and we never ask you to verify a number to shop.

Prices are in Bangladeshi Taka and include the goods. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay — you will never see a total appear only after committing to an order. Where free delivery is advertised above a stated order value, that threshold is applied automatically to your cart.

Every item is described as authentic and quality-checked. If an item turns out to be counterfeit, it is refunded in full under the shipping and returns policy.

Cash on delivery is our default. Please keep the exact amount ready where possible; couriers carrying change is not guaranteed and change may be unavailable outside Dhaka.

bKash, Nagad and Rocket are accepted by bank transfer to our merchant account. You send the payment and enter the transaction reference on the order. Your order stays unconfirmed until we match that reference, which normally happens within one working day during opening hours. A payment reference that does not match a real transaction will not be accepted, and no order will be dispatched against it.

If a bank transfer is made and the order is subsequently cancelled by us, the amount is returned by the same route within three working days.

All sales are final. We do not accept returns and do not issue refunds once a parcel has been delivered. That includes change of mind, an incorrect size or colour choice, an item not suiting you, and any other reason that is not a fault on our part. Buying without a return window is part of the price you agree to when you order, so please check the specification before you buy.

We will still put right an order that is damaged, faulty, not the item you ordered, never delivered, or counterfeit. Those are corrections to a delivery that went wrong rather than refunds for a purchase that did not, and they are set out in the shipping and returns policy. Report a problem of that kind within 48 hours of delivery, with your reference and a photograph.

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a completed sale. The contract is formed when we confirm dispatch. We may decline an order — and refund you in full — if an item is out of stock, if a price was listed in obvious error, or if we cannot deliver to your district. We will tell you and refund promptly rather than let an order sit unfulfilled.

Delivery estimates are estimates, given in working days and counted from dispatch rather than from the moment you order. Orders paid by bank transfer begin the dispatch clock once the payment is matched. Orders within Dhaka are normally dispatched within 24 hours. Remote districts take longer, and the courier's own estimate governs once the parcel is with them. If a delay materialises, contact us with your reference and we will chase it.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure, since order history and guest-order collection are tied to it. You can close your account at any time by asking; closing it removes your profile and signs you out everywhere. Orders already placed are retained as our sales records, exactly as a receipt would be, and remain available to you by reference and phone number.

Do not attempt to access the site or admin area without authorisation, probe it for vulnerabilities, scrape it at a rate that degrades service for others, or use it to place orders you do not intend to accept. We rate-limit and block where that happens, and we will cancel orders placed through an abusive request pattern.

We are responsible for the goods we sell and for doing what these terms say, including the remedies in clause 5 for an order that is damaged, faulty, wrong, undelivered or counterfeit. We are not liable for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the order was placed. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under Bangladeshi consumer law, or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms may change; the version in force is the one published here on the day you order, and the date above says when it last changed. Orders already placed are governed by the terms that applied when they were placed. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, and the courts of Dhaka have jurisdiction.
